A couple of cards today

today I had to make a birthday card for a work colleague, never sure what to make for these but I know she has a tattoo of a fairy in black on her arm, so used Crafters Companion Enchanted Forest collection for this card

I then went on to make another card, just for my stash as a sorry I forgot card.  Used crafters companion inks on acetate spritzed with water then direct to the card.  The stamp of the coffee was yet another freebie along with the sentiment.  The coffee stains stamp is a creative expression stamp in a collection.

Random cards

Occasionally I make cards for no specific reason or person, so today I have made one of those using free dies, and free embossing folder and free stamp from 2 magazines.  I have used the debossed side of the embossing folder and coloured it using alcohol markers.

Three Quarters of a century

So it’s Hubbys birthday coming up so time to make a card for him, he wanted his age on it this year, so I hope he is happy with my offering

I used a Lili of the valley Digi image which I coloured with spectrum noir pens, some hessian and a small trowel metal embelishment from my stash.

Selfie

I love the Tim Holtz crazy dogs and cats stamps and this is a card which I have made using 2 of the dogs.  I have water coloured the images and I had to mask on this card as well, something which I have rarely done but was pleased with the way it came out

So I ordered a back issue of a magazine because I wanted the free stamps that came with it, and have used one 3 of them on this card.  This time I have water coloured the image as I enjoy that medium but really need to practise it.

I have followed the sketch 553 on Sketch Saturday so would like to enter it into that challenge and also

Silhouettes.

This time a card for a colleague at work.  Have used die and papers from crafters companion Parisian collection, a corner die which I can not for the life of me think of the make but is one is my large collection of dies and a pug which was a freebie stamp with a magazine.  The colleague has a pug hence why I added it

13th Birthday

It was my Granddaughters 13th Birthday and she has just started to learn the bass guitar, thought this Digi stamp from Mo’s digital pencil was very appropriate, coloured using alcohol markers and the large number dies are from tonic and how handy they are.
