Got catnip?

Last one for today.   I have used an old wooden mounted stamp for this card, but I have to say I love it which is why I have kept it.  All the paper is from a paper stack magazine/book and the sentiment is from a set of cat sentiments.

I would like to enter this into The paper players whose challenge this week is a sketch

On a roll

So here is my second card for today.  I have made this because I just love this stamp which was a freebie from creative stamping magazine a while back and I have to say I think the sentiment is a favourite of mine at the moment.  The sentiment is by Lisa Horton

One layer

So  I like to challenge myself and this week I read the rules and have used just one layer and the image features petals which is also a requirement.  The stamp is from a crafters companion collection and has been coloured using spectrum noir alcohol pens

Oh wise one

I was looking at challenges and found the paper players who wanted clean and simple and paper piecing, well I hadn’t done this technique for ages, so looked out a stamp that I thought would be suitable for paper piecing and found this woodware owl.  The owl has been paper pieced with scrap paper that I had left over from other projects, great for using these up.  So I made one card and then made another one using what I had left from the first owl.

I would like to enter this into

The Paper Players challenge. Clean and simple + paper piecing

A bit of steampunk

I saw the sketch on sketch Saturday and immediately thought of cogs. So I die cut the cogs and the steampunk butterfly and used silver gilding wax on them both.   First outing for these dies and I can see them being used some more

Today I have made a thinking of you card.  I have used A Phill Martin stamp with Harmony inks and black and white cardstock.  A very simple card but I think very effective

Work just gets in the way

Work just seems to get in the way of crafting and  I usually only have Friday, Saturday and Sunday available to make cards, but as I have an extra day off this week I have been having a play. I have made a new home card for my stash.  I have used a really old stamp that I have had for years,  I know it was a Craft Barn own range stamp.  It has been coloured with  promarkers and used a brick embossing folder and added a metal key.

I would like to enter this into Just Us Girls, whose challenge this week is Houses

Addicted to stamps and more whose challenge is anything goes
