#14

have been feeling really rough for a couple of weeks, and have been feeling totally drained.  I had to make a card for a 14th birthday, so made myself sit down at the desk and make one.  It has taken me forever, but hey I did it.  I used the sketch from sketch Saturday as I love it, the image is a lili of the valley Digi stamp, I think it’s jasmine phone.  The image was coloured using chameleon pens.  The papers are from the paper stack books and the teal card is tonic.

The last Sunday card

This card was made specifically to meet the colour requirements of the paper players this week. It also fits into others as well.  I have used my old faithful Tim Holtz wild flowers dies and a word die which I think is a sizzix one.  I did not have the actual colours required for the paper players but I think I am pretty close.

Be bold

There is a woman at work who is moving to another department at another location, which we only found out at at the end of week, and her last day with us is Monday, so I have made her a good luck card.  The large letters are crafters companion and the small letters are diamond press dies.

Black and white

The first of today’s cards is a black and white creation.  I love this combination, saves me spending hours trying to decide what colours go together.  I have used lisa Horton dies and the girl stamp was yet again a freebie from a magazine

Today I have made a card just because I could.  I have used yet another freebie stamp and sentiment from a magazine (I do buy some as well).  The paper is from the paper stack magazine and the pink card is from my stash.  I have used my favourite lace and some flowers from the boxful that I have.

Keeping it real

I really wanted to do the sketch from sweet sketch Wednesday, so here is my take on the sketch.

I have to say I love the sketch and will be using it again.  I have used a lily of the valley stamp and coloured the image with watercolour pencils, the other 2 stamps the sentiment and the pocket watch are from my draw of stamps and I am not sure what make they are.

Circle slider

following on from a bee card yesterday, I thought I would do another one today, but made this a circle slider card so that it met a movement theme.  The bee is from a sizzix die, just had to card the bee out, the amber card is what was still on my desk from yesterday, the beehive and nest were freebie stamps as was the sentiment.

One layer

I have made a one layer card, very clean and simple for the sort of occasion that you never want to make a card for.  The image was a freebie from a magazine and the sentiment was the same.  The image has been watercoloured.

Busy bee

So today I thought I would use the sketch on freshly made sketches for my card.  I used harmony inks  to colour the top card, and used a chocolate baroque stamp on it for the honeycomb.  The bottom card is plain amber coloured.  The bee stamp is also a chocolate baroque stamp and the sentiment was a free one from a magazine.
